Quartz

As a form of engineered stone this type of surfacing combines both the attractiveness and robustness of stone with the benefits that modern technology can bring.

Why is quartz a good choice?

  • Ease of maintenance and cleaning

  • Scratch resistant

caesarstone® and silestone®

Quartz is one of the most abundant and hardest minerals on earth. It is present and plentiful on almost every continent across the globe. Engineered for countertops and other surfaces, ground quartz aggregates are combined with a small amount of polymer resins for binding, and pigments for color. Quartz slabs are blended at a ratio of up to 93 percent natural quartz minerals extracted from the earth’s crust.

Caesarstone® and Silestone® were pioneers of natural quartz surfacing and continue to be a dominant force in the market. The new generation of engineering allows for improved products that are just as, and sometimes more durable than granite, marble, and other surface materials.
